Use SQL to communicate with databases |
APPLICATION |
This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to communicate with databases by means of structured query language (SQL). This unit of competency is applied by technicians who have to update data on a database or retrieve data on a database. Some common relational database management systems that use SQL include Oracle, Sybase, Microsoft SQL Server, Access, and Ingres. No licensing, legislative, regulatory or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication. |
